Parking areas of Dubai International Airport

Dubai International Airport has short and long-term parking facilities in front of each terminal. Short-term parking is the ideal option if you are only traveling to the airport for 5 hours or less. Long-term parking is recommended if you need to park for more than 5 hours. There are airport shuttle buses available to carry you from the long-term parking area, which may be some distance from the terminals.

Premium parking is located near the terminals in both Terminals 1 and 2 and cheap parking is located about a 10-minute walk away. Parking in the economy lots is $5 for the first hour and $20 for the entire day. Premium prices begin at $7.50 per hour and can reach $30 per day.

Best mode of public transportation to travel around:

The Dubai Metro is the most convenient mode of transportation to DXB. It connects the airport to the city with two lines that run from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. during the week and from 1 p.m. to midnight on Fridays. During the Islamic holy month of Ramadan, hours of operation may change. The Red Line stops at Terminals 1 and 3, while the Green Line stops near the Airport Free Zone, from where travelers can enter Terminal 2.
